Dialup Networking Windows 2000 Configuration

1) Double click on "My Computer" (Top left hand corner of your screen)

2) Double click on "Control Pannel"

3) Double click on "Network and Dial-up Connections"

4) Double click on "Make New Connection"

5) You should now see the screen below. Click "Next >"

6) Click on "Dial-up to the Internet"

7) Click "Next >"

8) Click on "I want to set up my Internet connection manually, or I want to connect through a local area network (LAN)."

9) Click "Next >"

10) Click on "I connect through a phone line and a modem"

11) Click "Next >"

12) Untick "Use area code and dialing rules"

13) In the section "Telephone number" Type the Indigo Networks Phone number

Note: Make sure the phone number you are dialing is in your local call area, otherwise you will pay STD call rates.

14) Click "Next >"

15) In the "User Name" section type the username you were assigned by Indigo Networks

16) In the "Password" section type the password you were assigned by Indigo Networks

17) Click "Next >"

18) In the "Connection name" section type "Indigo Networks".

19) Click "Next >"

18) Click on "Yes"

19) Click "Next >"

20) In the "Display name" section type the name you wish to be seen as when you send email to other people.

21) Click "Next >"

22) In the "E-mail address" section type the email address you were assigned by Indigo Networks

23) Click "Next >"

24) In the "Incoming Mail POP3" section type "pop.indigo.net.au".

25) In the "Outgoing Mail STMP" section type "smtp.indigo.net.au".

26) Click "Next >"

27) In the "Account Name" section type the username you were assigned by Indigo Networks

28) In the "Password" section type the password you were assigned by Indigo Networks

29) Click "Next >"

30) Click "Finish"
